My Portfolio

A showcase of my projects and my abilities

About me

My name is Kenneth Mensah, I'm a software engineer working on a Specialization track at Holberton School. The field I'm passionate about is Augmented Reality /Virtual Reality. One of the most recent application I've worked on is a Angry bird clone augmented reality game. The Unity framework was used for this project, as well as C# scripts. Once the game was finalized, the user was able to read and scan horizontal planes with their smartphones which then instantiates capsules that you can then shoot at with a projectile ball in the mold of a slingshot. I've lived in the Bay Area most of my life now, and I've grown to be deeply rooted in the sense of technology changing the way we do interact with the world.

Project 2
VR Room

In this project the purpose was to create sitting / standing VR experience in the form of a simple exploration or “escape room”.

Project 3
ShaderGraph

In this project, I used Unity’s ShaderGraph tool to create different shaders and effect including: a shader 3D GameObject glow around the edges, a shader that simulates a disintegrating or dissolving effect, and an animated shader that simulates the appearance of water, etc.

Project 4
VR Slingshot Game

In this project I created a “slingshot” game in which the application will detect a horizontal plane (like the floor or a table) and generate moving targets on top of the plane. The user can then launch projectiles to hit the targets for points, creating interaction between a screen and the user’s physical space.
